Hello, Goodbye

Wake me up, when September ends.

I'd like to apologise to my dear blog for neglecting it, for I have been too busy doing absolutely nothing. I wake up each morning, turn on my laptop and watch a few series of One Tree Hill, get out of bed, wash up, go to the kitchen planning to make breakfast but then.. Seeing the sight of dirty dishes just puts me off so I then proceed to clean the whole kitchen, THEN i make breakfast/lunch= brunch. After that.. I just go back to watching shows and stalking people on facebook.

Life has been a smooth ride lately. A bit too smooth for my taste. Very routined. Very.. neat. I've been wanting to update, but I've just been waiting, waiting for what? Well, waiting for something to happen so I can actually update something interesting.

The only time I leave the house is after 6pm. Monday night for dance classes, Tuesday for the Secret Shhh launch @ Chadstone, Wednesday for a red cross op shop opening or party of some sort and yesterday for dinner with the one and only Kazza. Without my dear sissy, and MisterMode, I wouldn't have left the house at all.

Today was slightly more eventful. I actually left the house during daylight! Yay! Went to grab lunch with Javier (well, he grabbed lunch, I already ate before) and swung by Swinburne Uni to check out courses for him. Proceeded back home to watch One Tree Hill. Back to the routine!

I don't really have much to say now. I was going to rant on about this online identity stealer person but thought against it. So I'll just put out some photos.. of myself. Hah!

and yes, vanity strikes again.

Slow as a snail

This week is going by so slow, that if a snail were to race it, it would even pass it a second time before the week even ends.
Holidays, why can't you arrive sooner!?

The whole day today the staff kept announcing over the PA system "the girls who are leaving early tomorrow please bring your luggage up front nice and tidy please". So filled with envy that they get to travel back home.. days early while I am stuck here, in the boarding house, slowly rotting just waiting for the time to pass.

I've even sunk to the level of going to gym. Which I suppose I should look at a positive light. I've been demanding myself for ages to start exercising again and now I have finally got to it. 3 days before the holidays, ha! What a hoot.

Interesting thing though, after 3 terms in Toorak only do I find out that the dance studio is up for use any time after school hours. Lovely.. I would have spent so much more time there if I had known! Dance is such a good form of therapy.. all day every day.

Anyways since my life is pretty boring and I have nothing else to rant about I shall post up a video of random videos I have taken.. Enjoy?

I really wanted to add music to the video but iMovie was being a little ***** and didn't let me. So.. yeah.

Lovely having the dance studio all to myself :3

UPDATE://

Check out the amazing Laura Loe below! Skip to 0:39 for her bee-you-tee-ful singing! :) You won't regret it!

Lazy Sunday

Today has indeed been the most boring Sunday of my existence.
I did not do anything except eat and stay in bed watching videos. And facebook stalk. And took some vain pictures. I haven't even done my homework yet, greats. Thank god holidays start next week, I'm quite over the boarding house at the moment.

Don't you like how I motivate myself? Of course it's not working.. Look what I did today.

School 24/7

So hippiee so cool ^____^
Anyways, I'm sure you guys missed my face. Like my blog isn't plastered with enough of it.

Nothing much has been going on lately.  We had house drama and house variety today instead of classes and it was a blast! Wasn't really excited at first as I didn't know what to expect, but I laughed so much.

What is house drama and house variety?
Basically.. They are plays.. played by houses.
For house drama, each house is given a 'theme' and a setting. For example, this year my house (woo! Go Cerutty!) got the theme 'Stupid is as stupid does' and our setting was 'over the fence'. Each houses' year 11s then have to write a script involving the theme and the setting. Then auditions and casting and then ta-dah, play!

House variety, however is just for the year 11s and 12s. It's close to a musical. You act, dance and lip-sync! You are also given a theme. Our theme this year was The Lion King and we placed first so hiphiphooray.

I didn't really know much about any of these so I didn't end up participating in it. I had so much fun even as part of the crowd though. Eating lollies and laughing at puns.

Good way to end the week? Yeps, definitely.

So this is my last weekend in the boarding house before holiday commences for 2 weeks. Then I'll having parties at my siblings place while they're at work (um.. jokes?). Can't believe how fast time has flown past. It actually felt like less than a month ago since I boarded the plane in KK.. and landed in Melbourne the next morning. Not that I'm complaining...

Anyways.. Just thought I'd show you how I spend most of my time in the boarding house, doing what I do best. This isn't even a quarter of the photos that we have taken.. which is a bit awkies.

It's always the easiest to communicate with people from home. These are the few that are from Malaysia and Singapore.

Ahhh I wish I was home.

Throw Some Glitter in the Air

So Kiera and I have been speaking of doing somewhat of a photoshoot for ages, and today we finally managed to! We wanted to use the photography room as there is professional lighting + background set up already, but there were people there working on their folio and we thought it would just be a bit too awkward to have a photoshoot with people around. So we walked around the art department and just went into a random room. It was really good though as there was natural light that helped enhanced the photos.

Here are a few as some sneak peaks :)

Fit for the Queen

So 2 weekends ago, Kiera texted me, telling me that her family and her were going to stay at the Crown the next weekend, that she had a room to herself and asked me whether I would like to come and stay over.

Of course I said yes right? I mean, it was the Crown.. Not only that I do love spending time with Kiera.. she's been my best mate since I came to Melbourne.

So after that one week passed by really quickly and before I knew it, it was the weekend where I could be residing at The Crown for the night.

I first met up with Kiera at Fed Square and we went on a bit of a shopping spree. Even though I was very nearly broke... and I told myself I wasn't going to shop, I did purchase a few items.. and a few snacks. We wandered around and got lost for a bit trying to find our way to Melbourne Central. Then after, got lost a bit again trying to find our way back to The Crown. It was super fun though as we browsed through shops.. me resisting very hard not to try on clothes so I won't buy them. Kiera holding on to me so I won't go into any of the shoe shops. I have a soft spot for shoes, heh.

Anyways got back to the Crown and had dinner and played laser tag which was super amazing. I felt like I was going to bump into Barney Stinson at any moment! We were going to catch a movie, preferrably the Help.. and if not then, Friends with Benefits but we missed the last show and the next one that was playing was the next day so we went back up to the room instead.. and the Notebook was on tv so we watched that.. and teared. At least I did.

Here are some photos..and a great thanks to AdamTam for dropping it off for me just cause I wanted so badly to take photos. Even though he wasn't really on the way. Thank you koko!

Kiera let me keep the key cards. Hehe.

Just after dinner.. Right after Adam dropped the camera off.

Laser Tag!

You can't really see them but the vest are hanging off the light bars. And the gun is attached to the vest.

How pretty are the lights! I tried very hard to look away from them.. but I couldn't. They were just way too amazing.

The Casino is in there.. Quite cool.

The lovely Kiera!

The walk-in closet, in the room. Right, RIGHT?!

I love how most hotels have ipod docks now as an alarm/clock.

View from our room.

The next day. Melbourne weather was being temperamental. It had a hard time deciding whether it wanted to rain or for it to be sunny.

Lift area.

Overall it was an amazing experience and I felt so lucky!
Had an amazing breakfast buffet (I love breakfast!) and then we just went back to pack up and then took a stroll. For some reason I felt like I was in Vegas in the hotels. It was one of the hotels that had everything. Shopping, casino, arcade. You could spend your whole day just in the hotel and not be bored.

They dropped me off at the station after and I took a train to the siblings house. Funny story. I took the wrong train.. and ended up in woopwoop land. Haha I was in the country area before I realised that I wasn't on the right track. So I spent a whole 45 minutes going the wrong way.. Took me an hour and a bit to get back to the siblings place when it would usually take 20 minutes. Gotta love my idiocy eh.

Sorry for the lack of updates before.. But I hope you enjoyed this one! :)
