Christmas in June

Every Wednesday, the boarding house has a compulsory dinner in which all boarders (juniors and seniors) have to attend in the dining room. Because compulsory dinners go on for quite a bit, and not many people seem to enjoy trekking all the way up to the boarding house in this treacherous weather, the staff try their best to make it as fun as possible. We have game nights, themes such as masquerade or student-teacher role switch nights, etc etc. 

So last night was the 2nd last compulsory dinner of this term and they decided to theme it Christmas in June. Yes, it usually is Christmas in July but we won't be here in July, with winter break and all. So Christmas in June. The staff decorated the dining hall with ornaments and fairy lights and they went full out, even coming up with a display of a mini Christmas tree. Even dinner was very Christmas like, with turkey and roast potatoes etc etc. The directing head of boarding also came as Mrs Claus! 

It was indeed a successful and fun night. I dressed up, a little with a teal skirt (not really green but it was the closest I could find) and a red shirt, with red lipstick and red flats. Had so much fun with the girls, taking heaps of photos, as you can see:

7:30am, one of those mornings where it was so hard to wake up cause I woke up feeling like I did not sleep at all

My last film.. was the one with Johnny Depp in it. Oh yeah, The Dark Shadows.

LIVE?! I really don't know. Right now I am fully contented in Melbourne.

An egg pie thingy, and some cantaloupe.

ASIAN ALL THE WAY. That is all I ever want. If I could eat rice without getting fat that is all I would eat.

08. What foods do you dislike?
Dislike, I'm sure there is something that I don't like, I just can't put my mind to it. Oh okay well I don't like jelly fish they serve as appetizers during chinese dinner parties

How can there be a favourite place to eat? At home I guess so I can pig out without having to care.

10. Does your family have a car worth over $2000?
Um yeah pretty sure, that isn't worth much.

11. What kind of vehicle do you drive?
I.. drive the Proton Persona. And on good days my mum will let me drive her Merc.

Favourite of all favourites? Pajama shorts and an oversized t shirt

13. Where would you visit if you had the chance?
Right now my mind is stuck in the US of A because my beloved family is there.

14. Cup 1/2 empty or 1/2 full?
CUP 1/2 FULL most of the time, but sometimes I think that the cup is 1/2 empty so I don't set myself up for disappointment

How can there be a best when there are so many amazing ones? Kiddies club, wakeboarding, dancing, camping.

DOG person.

lol if it was kk i would say KFC and BK, but if melbourne i would go for maccas

Of family and exams

I see everyone updating their blog and since my one and only paper is over, I thought I'd do a little bitty update. I had my unit 3 Psychology paper today and I would love to say I walked out of the room with confidence but sadly that wasn't the case. After doing 15 trial exams, not even exaggerating and coped up in my room studying for days on ends, you'd think I'd be completely prepared. 

Well I thought so too. There's only so much information you can retain and there's so much information on Psychology. Anyways, enough about exams, I am so stoked that it is over! I mean, I still have my English oral presentation and the GAT but you know, exams are over! Spent my whole day watching movies and youtube without feeling that guilty. And guess what, by the time this week is over I'll have 2 weeks till home! And turning 17!

Ah okay writers block (or just not a writer) 

Do check out the two videos! First one is Kaiyeesha singing Mama Do by Pixie Lott aca pella and it is amazing. Second video is of what life has been like for Adam back home, it's hilariouuuus I couldn't stop laughing. Watching their videos make me want to vlog, and I have an idea which I might do! So we'll have to wait and see on that!

Change?

Currently lying in bed, diving through my past treasures. 

It's funny how in a year so much can change, yet so much still remains the same. 

Such as, my hair. Pretty sure I'm back to the colour I started with, after all the time spent on giving a go at change, I'm back to the starting point, ready set go. 

And so much has changed too. Not in massive wow change, but small, incremental changes. Things that no one would notice but yourself. 

But these changes, I often wonder, have I really changed, or am I just fooling myself with the thought of wanting to change, wanting to be someone better than who I am? 

I don't know.

Change is so subjective. 

gah I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore.
